Eligibility Criteria
How You Can Be Part of YLSW?
- Open to individuals aged 15 to 50 from all nationalities and backgrounds.
- We welcome applicants from all fields, whether you're a high school or university student, startup founder, policy researcher, educator, climate activist, or volunteer. No specific academic background is required, only a clear commitment to making a positive impact.
- The working language of the summit is English, so participants must be comfortable engaging in discussions and activities in English.
- You must be available to attend the full summit and actively participate in all sessions.

What should I do if I don't have a passport?
We strongly recommend that all applicants possess a valid passport for travel. However, you can still apply by submitting your National ID in the passport section and ensuring you obtain your passport before the event date.

The application fee can be paid using a debit or credit card through our secure Stripe payment gateway, which is widely recognized for its safety and reliability. If you do not have a debit or credit card, you may use one belonging to a friend or family member to complete the payment.
What types of scholarships are offered for the YLSW 2026?
We offer fully funded, forum access, & self-funded scholarships. Selections are made by an official selection committee and the affiliation with the United Nations and government.
What is the application submission deadline?
The deadline for submitting applications is March 15, 2025, at 23:59 GMT
Who can attend the Young Leaders Sustainability Week?
YLSW is open to young leaders, innovators, students, professionals, and visionaries who are passionate about creating positive change in their communities and the world. Prior experience in sustainability is not compulsory.
Is there any funded opportunity to attend YLSW 2025?
Yes, there is a fully funded opportunity to attend YLSW 2025 where applicants have to just pay the application fee. Rest all the expenses on attending the event will be covered by IIMPs. The reason for providing fully funded opportunity is to encourage youth sustainability aspirants to have their passion come to life without worrying about expense. Applicants can register themselves by choosing any registration category of their choice.
How to attend YLSW if I couldn’t get funded?
Yes, you can still apply for the self funded and forum access category where you can get all the benefits and opportunities of YLSW.
Can I participate in event if not selected for fully funded?
Yes! There are multiple registration categories, including Forum Access Only, and Self-Funded options, allowing participants to join even if they are not selected for the fully funded participation.

YLSW is firmly aligned with the United Nations SDGs, acting as a strategic platform for fostering progress on critical global challenges such as climate action, gender equality, economic growth, and health.
